Great tips! I have to agree with your fiverr recommendation. I’ve worked closely with a friend who is self-publishing her first book.
Fiverr was a great, inexpensive tool to prepare the book for printing. We sent the book interior, cover graphic (she found it online and paid for it), and title. The work this man did.. he made it look like a real book! It was formatted beautifully, he included drop caps at the beginning of each chapter.
But the cover—every time I look at this cover I get happy. It’s simply gorgeous. We had no idea a self-published book could look so good!
