Details About Your Stay
Food
There are two food options for attendees at an additional cost. You must choose one package at registration.
Option 1: 3 days/nights room + 9 meals
For those opting to stay at the retreat center for three nights and 9 meals that will cover your entire stay.
Option 2: 9 meals (no room)
Choose option 2 if you are opting to stay at accommodations off the retreat site.
Accomodations
The event will be held at the beautiful United Christian Youth Center in Prescott, AZ. Attendees will be roomed together in one of the spacious cabins, up to six people per room. Men and women will not share cabins. During registration, you can add your room and food (9 meals) package.
For those that would like to, we will have a special nightly rate for one of the hotels nearby. Please choose the “meals only” option at registration to include your meals for the duration of the conference.
Travel
Getting to Prescott: Prescott, Arizona is 100 miles north of the Phoenix airport, the closest airport to our conference location. Several options for shuttles can be found from Phoenix Sky Harbor to the UCYC. Please check out the Arizona Shuttle website for more information.
Economy rental cars would be another great option. We recommend you rent a car and carpool with other attendees and make some friends in advance!
What is included in the regular registration fee?
Your registration fee includes access to:
- all the training sessions
- all small group mentoring sessions
- one 15 minute one on one marketing session with one of our marketing mentors
- one 15 minute one on one “Next Steps” with one of our mentors of the meals
- all course materials
- access to the private Facebook group one month before the conference plus indefinitely after the conference
How is this different from a writing conference?
At a writing conference, the emphasis is on just that — writing. (Well, and meeting editors and agents, but we all pretend it’s all about the writing.) At Leverage: The Speaker Conference, our entire goal is to make you the kind of speaker that God has designed you to be. Our small-group mentoring is completely dedicated to the art of speaking. We have created a program that will make a marked difference not just in your ability to speak, but also in your ability to create a speaking platform.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Please contact us — we will do our best to make every reasonable accommodation possible. All dietary needs must be communicated four weeks before the event.
